Meet Kevin Calhoun, MD

Kevin Calhoun, MD, is a primary care physician at Peninsula Healthcare Center in Torrance, California. He is dedicated to providing patient-centered care, listening carefully to each patient, and conducting thorough evaluations to ensure accurate diagnoses. He has extensive training in clinic administration and records management along with differential diagnosis, medical clinical procedures, and direct patient care.

Dr. Calhoun earned his bachelor’s degree in psychobiology at the University of California Los Angeles before staying on campus to earn his doctorate. He then traveled to New Orleans, Louisiana, to complete an anesthesia program at Tulane University, where he also participated in the clinical base year for anesthesia residents.

Dr. Calhoun is certified by the National Board of Physicians and Surgeons, the American Board of Emergency Medicine, and the National Registry of Certified Medical Examiners.
